About the Role
Avantor is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead a high-performing sales team within the Clinical and Healthcare market. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer engagement, while identifying market opportunities and monitoring industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Establish and execute regional sales strategies, including forecasting, developing annual sales objectives, and managing sales performance against revenue and profitability targets.
- Drive sustainable growth by expanding Avantor's customer base and strengthening strategic customer relationships.
- Ensure a strong market presence.
- Develop and mentor the team, exceeding revenue and profit targets.
- Hire, train, and set expectations for all sales specialists in the region.
- Continually evaluate associate progress and performance.
- Provide formal and informal sales training to all sales associates in the assigned region.
- Develop programs and selling strategies to motivate the sales force and stimulate sales.
- Develop and maintain sound customer and supplier relations.
- Directly handle contract negotiations for key accounts.
- Prepare sales and gross margin forecasts for region territories and analyze/monitor sales data for the region.
- Monitor and manage key product sales.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- College Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience (clinical market experience preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience (preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.

- $108,050.00 - $183,540.00 (Base Salary)
- $154,400.00 - $262,200.00 (Target Cash Opportunity)
