Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process customer invoices with high accuracy.
- Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with Operations as needed.
- Support and guide Billing Analysts when required.
- Assist with process improvements and reporting enhancements.
- Participate in testing and rollout of billing automation tools.
- Issue and meticulously review invoices, ensuring alignment with client contracts and internal policies.
- Investigate, document, and efficiently resolve complex billing discrepancies and payment disputes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline existing billing processes for greater organizational efficiency.
- Partner effectively with internal departments (Operations, Sales, Accounting) to ensure documentation and billing accuracy.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of billing, collections, or accounts receivable experience.
- Freight forwarding/logistics background is a plus but not required.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and new software tools is a bonus.
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to adapt to change with a sense of urgency.
