About the Role

This critical role manages billing processes, directly impacting the company's financial health and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process customer invoices with high accuracy.
  • Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with Operations as needed.
  • Support and guide Billing Analysts when required.
  • Assist with process improvements and reporting enhancements.
  • Participate in testing and rollout of billing automation tools.
  • Issue and meticulously review invoices, ensuring alignment with client contracts and internal policies.
  • Investigate, document, and efficiently resolve complex billing discrepancies and payment disputes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline existing billing processes for greater organizational efficiency.
  • Partner effectively with internal departments (Operations, Sales, Accounting) to ensure documentation and billing accuracy.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of billing, collections, or accounts receivable experience.
  • Freight forwarding/logistics background is a plus but not required.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and new software tools is a bonus.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to adapt to change with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent professional communication and organizational skills.
