About the Role

We are building CapsLock's AI Media Production platform and seeking a tech lead to architect it. This role involves creating visuals of real products with high fidelity, focusing on control and reproducibility rather than just prompting. As the first engineer in this area, you will work directly with the Design Director, serving as the technical interface between creative teams and software infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Architect and manage the AI Media Production platform, including ComfyUI or similar engines, GPU environments, and one-click UIs.
Ship modular, versioned, and reproducible generative pipelines using node-based or code-first approaches.
Develop one-click presets and use cases for image and video generation.
Train LoRAs end-to-end, from photography to production-ready models.
Integrate control-first generation into pipelines using techniques like ControlNet and IP-Adapter.
Engineer automated QC into pipelines for checks against product references.
Build a creative intelligence loop to encode successful asset characteristics into reusable presets.
Own the technical roadmap in collaboration with the Design Director, qualifying new models and tools.
Drive adoption through enablement and support.

Requirements

Shipped generative pipelines adopted and used daily by others.
Production-grade workflows in ComfyUI or similar technologies, or equivalent code-first experience (e.g., diffusers).
Strong Python skills for automation, API integrations, and custom nodes.
Experience with LoRA training end-to-end, from dataset curation to evaluation.
Proficiency in control techniques across modalities (t2i, i2i, i2v, v2v), including ControlNet, IP-Adapter, inpainting, and reference conditioning.
Experience deploying pipelines as internal tools.
Sufficient visual literacy to establish quality standards.
Confident English communication (B2+).
