About the Role
The company is seeking to fill a full-time or part-time position to support their hosting operations at their Berlin headquarters. They particularly encourage women to apply.
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and further development of the automated hosting environment for Projektron BCS.
- Maintain and care for existing hosting VMs and instances.
- Communicate with the data center service provider.
- Participate in the transition of the hosting environment to container technologies to optimize resource utilization.
- Create and implement technical concepts for containerization and integration into existing management structures.
- Share responsibility for securing and hardening web servers and operating systems within the scope of IT security.
Requirements
- Good to very good degree in an IT-related field or completed training in computer science or comparable knowledge acquired through professional experience.
- Experience in administering an automated hosting environment.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar container tools.
- Experience in the technical administration of web applications.
- Administration of Linux server systems.
- Knowledge of tools: Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, Ansible, Puppet.
- Very good German language skills (C1 or higher).
