About the Role
Review alerts and conduct thorough case investigations to identify potential suspicious activities for reporting purposes. This is a fixed-term position for 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing alerts and conducting thorough case investigations to identify potential suspicious activities for reporting purposes
- Detecting patterns and trends indicative of money laundering, terrorist financing, or other types of suspicious activities
- Conducting in-depth investigations when suspicious activities are identified, ensuring all findings are accurately documented
Requirements
- Hands-on work experience in an operational AML/AFC role or related departments within the banking or financial sector
- Ability to create thorough and precise case documentation
- Confidence in making sound, risk-based decisions
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of workflows
- Fluent in English and German with excellent communication skills in both languages
- Keen eye for detail and approach work with accuracy and diligence
- Proactive and motivated mindset, always striving for excellence
- Previous experience working in a similar position and in a neo-bank or digital banking environment is considered an advantage
