About the Role
The Account Executive, Membership Sales – New York Liberty is responsible for generating new business revenue through the sale of New York Liberty full season memberships, partial plans, group memberships, premium seating, and other ticket products. This role also identifies opportunities to connect customers with select Barclays Center events and experiences, helping maximize engagement across the Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business revenue through the sale of New York Liberty full season memberships, partial plans, group memberships, premium seating, and other ticket products.
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategies through phone calls, emails, text messaging, networking, referrals, digital outreach, and in-person appointments to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales revenue, activity, and performance goals.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell select Barclays Center concerts, family shows, and other live entertainment events to maximize customer value and engagement.
- Host prospective members and clients during New York Liberty games and assigned events, delivering an exceptional experience from initial contact through post-sale engagement.
- Represent the New York Liberty at community events, networking functions, watch parties, and other fan engagement opportunities to generate new business.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of New York Liberty ticket products, Barclays Center events, promotions, scheduling, and industry trends.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of sales, business development, customer service, or related professional experience; sports and entertainment sales experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales goals in a competitive, performance-driven environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to effectively prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities.
- Experience managing customer relationships through CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple opportunities and manage a high-volume sales pipeline.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the New York Liberty schedule and other Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment events.
