About the Role
The Technical Sales Specialist will understand technical products and services, translating features into customer-focused solutions. This role serves as a liaison between customers and internal technical teams, ensuring solutions meet requirements and supporting business growth.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support and guidance.
- Collaborate with Sales and Technical teams to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Act as the key technical contact for customers throughout the sales process.
- Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and product information.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through technical advice and support.
- Stay up to date with product developments and industry trends.
- Support customer enquiries and contribute to a seamless customer experience.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in technical sales, engineering support, or a customer-facing technical role.
- Experience within the commercial vehicle industry (buses and coaches) is highly desirable.
- Experience within the automotive, engineering, or manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to delivering technical solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel across the UK when required.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable.
