About the Role

Telexistence (TX) is a robotics company that develops remote-controlled AI robots with the mission to "deliver the benefits of the robot revolution to everyone on the planet." We are entering a phase of systematically establishing our accounting system in preparation for an IPO and are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. This role involves accurately managing daily operations and contributing to the development of our accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entry, invoice processing, accounts payable/receivable management, cash flow management, and expense report checks.
• Handle monthly closing procedures, including balance reconciliation, document preparation, and subsidiary ledger creation.
• Assist with annual closing procedures, including preparing adjusting entries and subsidiary ledger details.
• Support tax accountant and auditing firm liaison, including preparing requested documents and data, and assisting with IPO readiness documentation.
• Respond to inquiries from internal departments and external business partners.
• Improve accounting operations by developing and implementing manuals for workflow efficiency and error prevention.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of accounting experience in a business or accounting firm.
• Knowledge equivalent to Nissho Boki Level 2.
• Adaptability to enjoy organizational and operational changes during the growth phase.
• Experience with freee, Money Forward, or BAXK.
• Accounting or back-office experience in a startup or venture company.
• Accounting experience in a publicly traded company.
• Experience or interest in improving accounting efficiency using AI or accounting SaaS.
