About the Role
Great opportunity to use your customer service skills and knowledge of millwork and building supplies to assist our customers in selecting materials, setting up deliveries and obtaining quotes/lead times.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection and purchases.
- Provide exceptional service in person and over the phone.
- Process sales transactions and customer orders using the ERP system.
- Coordinate deliveries and communicate estimated arrival times.
- Obtain quotes and lead times from manufacturers and vendors.
- Manage order inquiries and resolve customer issues.
- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate sales and order records.
Requirements
- Well spoken with a professional appearance.
- Familiarity of building supplies.
- Experience in sales of building materials and millwork preferred.
- Experience with CSD and CRM is a plus.
- Strong mathematical, language, computer and email skills.
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
- Some weekend availability required.
- We are willing to train motivated candidates with strong customer service skills and transferable experience.
