About the Role
As a Technical Deployment Senior Analyst (TDA), you will play a critical role in delivering customer and infrastructure projects across Australia’s data center portfolio, supporting various sites as required. This role balances project delivery, customer engagement, vendor management, and operational collaboration while identifying opportunities for process improvement. You will engage with complex, high-value projects and build bench strength across the team. Thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple concurrent projects, coordinating diverse stakeholders, and driving outcomes from planning through implementation. Success requires a proactive mindset, strong accountability, and the ability to influence across teams without direct authority.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple deployment and installation projects simultaneously from planning through completion.
- Act as a key coordination point between customers, vendors, engineering teams, and operational stakeholders.
- Support technical deployment activities including cage design, structured cabling, customer installations, and infrastructure changes.
- Drive project execution while ensuring customer commitments, timelines, and quality standards are met.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, optimize, and improve deployment processes and operational workflows.
- Build effective working relationships across cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve project outcomes.
- Take ownership of complex deployment challenges and make sound decisions regarding escalation and resolution paths.
- Provide support and backup coverage across Sydney facilities when required.
- Partner with vendors and external partners to ensure successful delivery of deployment activities.
- Support data analysis, systems utilization, and reporting activities to improve operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong project management capability.
- Experience working with customers, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining high quality and customer focus.
- Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive positive change.
- Strong accountability, ownership mindset, and willingness to lead from the front when required.
- Technical aptitude with an ability to quickly understand data center infrastructure, power, cooling, and deployment processes.
- Due to customer requirements, all employees must be able to attain and maintain NV1 clearance.
Skills
- Data center environment experience highly regarded
- Formal PM qualifications highly regarded
- Experience within data centers, telecommunications, technology infrastructure, critical environments, systems integration, construction delivery, or related industries highly regarded
