About the Role
Five Below is seeking a motivated individual to join their team, focusing on delivering an amazing customer experience and driving store success. This role involves ensuring associates provide excellent customer service, managing daily store operations, and contributing to sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all crew members provide excellent customer service through personal interaction.
- Train crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience for fast and friendly checkouts.
- Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring effective performance and customer service.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for efficient sales floor placement.
- Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations, staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
- Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash security, locking, alarms, and operational readiness.
- Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
- Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
- Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
- Perform store maintenance, including cleaning and stock room organization.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- College experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Creative thinking.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts and travel.
