About the Role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you will provide Partner-led service and passion for food, ensuring customers have a positive experience and remain loyal to the Waitrose brand. Any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Stock replenishment, ensuring shelves are full and products are correctly placed.
  • Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
  • Reducing wastage by managing product due diligence and markdowns.
  • Supporting the wider shop team with tasks such as checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment through general shopkeeping tasks.

Requirements

  • Communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role is welcomed.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
  • Flexible approach to support the entire branch.
