About the Role

Seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time night shift position at a sleep lab. This role involves providing sleep services primarily on weekends to facilitate diagnostic testing and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
  • Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols.
  • Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events (e.g., respiratory and cardiac episodes).
  • Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher required.
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; use hands to operate equipment.
  • Close, distance, and peripheral vision with ability to adjust focus.
  • Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.
  • Must meet federal employment eligibility requirements (E-Verify participation).

Skills
