About the Role
Join Costain as a Senior Engineer at Heathrow Airport, playing a key role in delivering a major civils package. You will lead a team, manage works safely and compliantly within budget and schedule, and liaise with various stakeholders to optimize delivery and manage risks.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers
- Work with supervisors to deliver works
- Comply with design
- Secure appropriate work permits
- Ensure packages are managed
- Follow RAMS and QA procedures
- Liaise with commercial and planning teams to optimize Programme and delivery
- Take opportunities and manage risks
- Coordinate with the works management team
- Work closely with Alliance Partners (Beumer, Fujitsu, AviBC) and the Heathrow Client team, Operations, 3rd parties, and other Tier 1 suppliers
- Manage the safe and compliant installation of works within budget and schedule
- Manage the SLP compound establishment
- Manage service diversions and enabling works
- Manage new external Link Bridge RC foundations
- Manage Starlight Point working platforms and logistics routes
- Coordinate with Beumer and Fujitsu Baggage equipment installation
