About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional engineer to own everything that touches the customer's physical robot, from developer tools to production monitoring and maintenance. You will translate customer needs into a roadmap that accelerates robot deployments.
Responsibilities
- Define "great developer experience" for engineers working with humanoid robots.
- Own the product roadmap for developer tooling, including SDKs, APIs, CLI tools, GUIs, diagnostics, and integration frameworks.
- Own the productized path to policy deployment on robots at scale, including hardware-model gap analysis, self-service pipeline components, and runtime observability tooling.
- Support hardware design engagements with robot manufacturers, providing design recommendations based on simulation analysis.
- Get hands-on with robots, run integrations, reproduce bugs, and validate tooling in real-world conditions.
- Establish documentation, tutorials, and reference architectures for customer self-service.
- Monitor adoption and prioritize the backlog based on quantitative signals and qualitative feedback.
Requirements
- Product management experience on developer-facing products (SDKs, APIs, developer platforms, or embedded tooling).
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to read C++ codebases and participate in architecture discussions.
- Working understanding of robot software stacks, including real-time control loops, sensor/actuator interfaces, and simulation-to-hardware differences.
- Experience working with external developer communities or B2B technical customers, ideally supporting integration into third-party hardware or platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for API specs, partner updates, and roadmap narratives.
- Comfortable operating in an early-stage, fast-moving environment with broad scope and ambiguity.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across Europe and beyond (up to 15%).
