About the Role
Join the Client Technology Tribe within the Banking Operations team to build tools and workflows for KYC, Anti-Financial Crime, and Fraud Operations. You will architect regulatory monitoring capabilities, develop case management solutions, and build client-facing journeys while balancing rapid feature delivery with long-term architectural quality in a regulated banking environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve high-quality web experiences for banking operations.
- Work across the full stack including frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, event-driven workflows, and cloud infrastructure.
- Partner with the Operations department to prioritize features and measure release success.
- Contribute to observability, analytics, experimentation, and operational excellence.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code prioritizing security and reliability.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features from ideation to production.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in architecture, testing, and developer experience.
- Shape technical direction and mentor teammates.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable practical experience.
- Strong backend experience building and operating production services, lambdas, and databases.
- Profound practical frontend experience with modern web application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and NestJS.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and authentication patterns like JWT.
- Good working knowledge of AWS, Docker, Git, CI/CD, and production observability.
- Experience delivering complex software with end-to-end ownership.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to make pragmatic trade-offs.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Experience in regulated environments, support tooling, or workflow automation.
