About the Role

Quantum Motion is seeking a process-driven People Operations Assistant to manage the day-to-day administrative engine of our HR function. You will support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll, immigration compliance, and system maintenance, while helping to scale our processes in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the end-to-end onboarding journey including offer letters, contracts, background checks, and logistics
  • Manage offboarding administration and documentation
  • Coordinate Right to Work compliance and UK Sponsor Licence records
  • Partner with legal advisors to track visa applications and expiry timelines
  • Draft and issue contract variation letters for promotions and salary adjustments
  • Coordinate global mobility and internal transfers across international entities
  • Manage monthly payroll inputs with high data accuracy
  • Maintain the HRIS as the single source of truth
  • Identify and implement process automation to replace manual workflows
  • Support the Talent team with recruitment operations and interview scheduling

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an in-house HR or People Operations function
  • Track record of executing high-volume administration in high-growth, technical, or scientific environments
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Comfortable with manual administrative tasks and building new structures
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and resolve process inefficiencies
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity
