About the Role
As a financial expert at SKala-CAMPUS, you will leverage your practical experience in NPO funding across both consulting and educational offerings, sharing your knowledge with numerous organizations. You will be the primary contact for non-profits seeking guidance on strategic funding, financial management, and fundraising, managing the entire process from inquiry to implementation. You will develop tailored consulting processes and formats based on specific challenges, advising organizations on crucial aspects of financial control and strategic development, including building robust funding strategies, financial planning, fundraising, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for non-profits regarding strategic funding, financial management, and fundraising.
- Develop the entire process from inquiry to offer creation and independent implementation.
- Design and moderate presentations, workshops, strategy sessions, and coaching (online or in-person).
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with non-profit partners.
- Contribute financial expertise to the team and participate in the development of consulting and educational offerings in the funding domain.
- Develop skills in other areas of interest within the consulting team.
Requirements
- At least five years of practical experience in the financial management of a non-profit.
- Experience in founding and building an organization, managing a turnaround, or overcoming crises.
- Proficiency in both operational and strategic financial matters.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex situations, structure them logically, and translate them into clear, actionable steps.
- Enthusiasm for supporting non-profit organizations during challenging development phases.
- Enjoy direct customer contact and communicate confidently, empathetically, and clearly in demanding conversations.
- Comfortable in a dynamic startup environment with parallel developments, rapid learning loops, and feedback as a standard part of collaboration.
- Enjoy working in a small team, taking responsibility, communicating openly, and jointly developing processes.
- Willingness to contribute to a strong team culture and be part of a social startup.
