About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-level Software Developer in Test to join our Quality Engineering team. This hands-on role involves taking ownership of automation platform components, working with CI pipelines on Connected TV devices, and mentoring junior team members in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks and tooling.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CI pipelines.
- Contribute to the full test lifecycle including requirement analysis, planning, execution, and reporting.
- Write and review code while upholding quality and documentation standards.
- Investigate and resolve test failures.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns through pairing and coaching.
- Prioritize bugs and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to test strategy discussions.
- Research and share knowledge on new tools and frameworks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in test automation, SDET, or software engineering.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and/or Python.
- Experience with modern test frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
- Understanding of Node.js, JavaScript, and bash scripting.
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools like Docker and GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum processes and Jira.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Proven track record of taking ownership of complex tasks.
- Must be able to work 5 days per week from the London office.
