About the Role

You are a data engineer responsible for building, maintaining, and keeping operational data pipelines and integrations that power modern lakehouse platforms. With Databricks at the core of your work, this role forms the technical backbone of our clients' data organizations. You switch easily between scripting and structured programming, and are familiar with software engineering, streaming, and automation on Databricks. You know how to build robust, scalable systems ready for real-world use.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing foundational data systems on Databricks to store, transform, and process data at scale, always with security, reliability, and future growth in mind.
  • Explaining design choices, aligning team members, and helping client teams make confident and informed decisions about their data landscape.
  • Working long-term with clients in healthcare and banking to build deep domain knowledge and lasting relationships while delivering meaningful impact.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience (impact is valued over years).
  • Unique achievements such as contributing to open-source projects or founding your own startup are encouraged.
  • Genuinely enjoy taking ownership, sharing knowledge, and contributing in an environment where everyone can feel welcome, included, and supported.
  • Based in the Netherlands.
  • Dutch professional-level proficiency required.
