About the Role

The Deals AI Forward Deployed Engineer is a hands-on technologist embedded within PwC's market-leading Deals practice. This role designs, builds, and deploys cutting-edge AI-driven solutions to transform the transaction lifecycle and support clients in post-deal value creation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with deal professionals and sprint teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven value creation for clients.
• Architect and deliver bespoke solutions using large language models, agentic AI frameworks, and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Iterate on prototypes and ship working solutions within tight deal timescales, focusing on delivering results.
• Surface recurring patterns, workflows, and failure modes from engagements to inform the Deals AI product roadmap and platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Possess technical curiosity and a passion for understanding how things work, from software engineering fundamentals to agentic AI architectures.
• Experience with a variety of AI solutions, tools, and platforms, including agentic AI technologies, large language models, and modern orchestration patterns.
• Comfortable picking up new technologies and frameworks quickly.
• Solid foundation in software development, including proficiency in Python, API design, modern deployment practices, version control, and testing best practices.
• Ability to embrace ambiguity, pivot quickly, and tackle complex challenges as part of a team.
• Agility to learn quickly and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Pragmatic focus on proving value early and ensuring solutions address meaningful, real-world challenges.
