About the Role

PwC’s Finance Managed Services (FMS) team is expanding, offering innovative, tech-enabled support to transform finance operations. As a Senior Manager, you will shape the delivery of these services, leading the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and cost-effective finance models that combine operational excellence with strategic insight. We focus on reimagining clients’ finance operating and delivery models using flexible, 'plug and play' solutions and leading cloud-based finance systems.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design and delivery of finance managed services.
Manage and develop senior finance client relationships, including interactions with CFOs, Group Finance Directors, and Finance Leads.
Develop commercial proposals and shape operating models aligned with client needs, compliance, and transformation goals.
Oversee multi-disciplinary delivery teams (onshore and offshore), driving performance against KPIs, SLAs, and contractual commitments.
Shape and develop client deliverables.
Proactively support the management of client engagements, assisting a Director or Partner.
Apply digital technologies (workflow tools, analytics, RPA/AI) to enhance delivery.
Support business development by contributing to bids, proposals, and solution design.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering continuous learning.
Manage the commercial performance of engagements, including profitability and growth.
Engage in business development activities to identify and research opportunities with new/existing clients.
Collaborate with colleagues in Finance Transformation and ERP teams to align FMS work with wider Finance Transformation projects.

Requirements

Deep understanding of core finance processes (Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, FP&A) and their operation within a managed service environment.
Proven track record in complex finance operations, outsourcing, managed services, or finance transformation/ERP projects, including Finance Operating Model design, Finance process design and run, Shared Services Centres, and Outsourcing experience.
Experience working with Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) models.
Practical knowledge of leading ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and their use for service efficiency and automation.
Strong commercial and contract management expertise, including pricing models and service governance frameworks.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, both internally and with clients.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders, including Finance Leads, Finance Directors, and CFOs.
Strong problem-solving and delivery skills, with a passion for innovation, automation, and digital enablement.
Collaborative leadership style that empowers teams and fosters capability development.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex and technical concepts clearly.
Passion for understanding client strategies and requirements, and a drive to build scalable, robust, and forward-thinking finance solutions.
