About the Role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you will provide Partner-led service and passion for food, ensuring customers have a positive experience and remain loyal to the Waitrose brand. Any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Stock replenishment to ensure shelves are full and products are correctly placed.
  • Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
  • Reducing wastage by managing product due diligence and markdowns.
  • Supporting the wider shop team with tasks such as checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders, and fulfilling on-demand customer orders.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment through general shopkeeping tasks.

Requirements

  • Communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.

Skills

  • Customer facing role experience is welcomed.
  • Up to date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
  • Flexible approach to support the whole branch.

Work Type

  • Full Time, 37.5 Hours
  • Across seven days including weekends between the hours of 08:00 - 21:00

Salary/Compensations

  • £14.55 (£14.80 After 90 days)
