About the Role
Cleveland Clinic London is seeking an Education & Governance Specialist for its Pharmacy team. This role is crucial for supporting medication safety and developing educational initiatives within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support and deputise for the Medication Safety Officer and Governance Lead for medicines.
- Provide specific support for Oncology services and develop the medicines governance structure.
- Ensure education, training, and workforce development align with CCL objectives, national policy, and initiatives.
- Support the ongoing professional development of all Pharmacy caregivers.
- Review and maintain relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage medicines incident reporting and disseminate lessons learned from investigations.
Requirements
- GPhC Registration as Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist (Essential)
- Master’s Degree & Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy (Essential if registered on the GPhC as a Clinical Pharmacist)
- NQV3 in Pharmacy and MMT qualification (Essential if registered on the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician)
- Practical experience in leading, developing, and delivering training, education, and health promotions to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders (Essential)
- Previous experience supporting with audit schedules and audit activity including medicines safety processes (Essential)
- Demonstrable track record supporting medication safety agenda, including review and evaluation of clinical risk and critical incidents (Essential)
