About the Role
Deutsche Bank Wealth Management Germany serves affluent clients, entrepreneur families, and family offices, aiming to expand its leading market position and achieve significant growth. The Editorial Content Manager will translate complex investment and wealth management topics into understandable, relevant, and high-quality content for clients and prospects, utilizing CIO research, market views, and specialist input to create articles, emails, newsletters, website copy, and scripts for webinars and video formats. This role blends journalistic quality with modern content production, involving clear storyline development, collaboration with experts, Marketing, and Sales, and the strategic use of AI to scale research, structuring, and quality assurance without compromising precision, tonality, or regulatory care.
Responsibilities
- Transform complex CIO, investment, and wealth-management content into client-relevant articles, emails, newsletter modules, website copy, RM materials, and other digital formats.
- Develop strong storylines, clear narratives, and editorial structures for long-form content, webinars, and video formats, making specialist substance understandable, informative, and accessible.
- Write, edit, and quality-assure content for defined target groups, channels, and communication occasions, including mailings, landing pages, website copy, and thought-leadership formats.
- Collaborate closely with CIO, Marketing, Sales, Legal/Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy, client value, channel fit, and feasibility.
- Utilize AI tools professionally for research, structuring, variant development, editorial scaling, and quality assurance, deriving multiple high-quality activation formats from core content.
Requirements
- Completed degree in journalism, communications, marketing, business, or a comparable field.
- Relevant experience as a journalist, writer, editorial writer, or content specialist.
- Excellent writing, structuring, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to present complex financial and investment topics in an understandable, precise, and engaging manner.
- Good understanding of capital markets, wealth management, and investment topics.
- Understanding of the requirements of sophisticated target groups in the financial environment.
- High confidence in using modern AI tools for editorial work to increase quality, speed, and output.
- Confident communication in German and English.
- Experience with SEO, content performance, editorial workflows, or digital content platforms is a plus.
