About the Role

As a Director within our Financial Services Business Risk Services (BRS) practice, you will lead the delivery of assurance engagements, champion the firm's values, build stakeholder relationships, grow the service line and team, and support the adoption of AI and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of assurance engagements across Consent Order validation, Skilled Persons work, Internal Audit, Risk Management and Programme Assurance
• Champion the firm's values and brand, driving quality and profitability across the FS Assurance portfolio
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across Grant Thornton and in the market, working across service lines to grow existing client accounts
• Grow the service line and team, supporting business development activity to expand our presence in Financial Services
• Support the adoption of AI and digital tools to improve efficiency across delivery and go to market

Requirements

• Significant experience delivering financial services assurance work at a senior level
• Exposure to regulatory or risk related engagements
• A track record of building senior client relationships and generating fee growth
• Experience across financial services regulatory or risk assurance work, including Consent Order validation, Skilled Persons work, Internal Audit or Programme Assurance
• A track record of building senior stakeholder relationships and generating sustainable fee growth
• Experience working across service lines to deliver an integrated client offer
• An interest in, or experience of, using AI and digital tools to improve delivery
• Experience developing and leading teams
