About the Role

Live Nation is committed to delivering first-class concert and event experiences. The Director, Client Services & Events will be responsible for the operational planning and delivery of entertainment shows and fan experience activations during major global events. This role involves end-to-end management of new music platforms on a global scale with multiple stakeholders, focusing on operational delivery, execution, and relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of key clients across multiple categories and events.
  • Ensure successful and timely operational delivery of all shows and events.
  • Create and manage processes for accurate and timely financial reporting for events.
  • Resolve or escalate financial concerns as required.
  • Continuously strengthen day-to-day client relationships through exceptional client service.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key Live Nation teams to ensure desired program delivery.
  • Provide direction for the team regarding program execution, resource deployment, reporting, and special projects.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of client businesses and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee the delivery of contracts.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages idea exchange.
  • Explore new technologies, marketing trends, and data & analytics practices to add client value.
  • Identify opportunities to engage internal resources.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple clients, partners, projects, and key relationships.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrable experience managing outdoor events or shows and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good expertise in planning, operational production, and technical requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Expertise in managing successful supplier and stakeholder relationships, contract negotiations, agreements, and procurement.
  • Demonstrable understanding of legal compliance and regulations for event operations.
  • Demonstrable business and financial acumen with a strong understanding of budgetary planning, forecast, and control.
  • Highly organized, with strong analytical thinking and ability to evaluate data.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving, decision-making, and judgment skills for improving processes, increasing efficiency, and profits.
  • Strong engaging communication skills, both written and verbal, with high attention to detail.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and organized working style.
  • Proven ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
