About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join our Patents Team as a Paralegal. We provide industry-leading training, guidance, and support to ensure paralegals are in the best possible environment to learn and develop. The aim is for the patent paralegal team to become "full service", with technical knowledge extended across the whole range of patent prosecution activities and related support. There are opportunities to handle a wide range of tasks across all clients, from European, PCT and United Kingdom applications to handling foreign patents, assignments and helping to design client processes. Teamwork and communication are key to our efficient and high-performing working model. Paralegal feedback is encouraged and implemented into process refinements, allowing the successful candidate to shape future operations.
Responsibilities
- Handle European, PCT, and United Kingdom patent applications.
- Manage foreign patents and assignments.
- Assist in designing client processes.
- Contribute to process refinements based on feedback.
Requirements
- Experience in patents, at least to the level of the Introductory Certificate in Patent Administration from CIPA.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Scrupulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to go the extra mile where work dictates.
