About the Role
As a Lab Technician at vly, you will accelerate product development throughput by conducting daily experiments at lab and pilot scale. This role is the operational backbone of our lab, responsible for ingredient preparation, sample processing, and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily experiments at lab and pilot scale.
- Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on pilot plants.
- Maintain hygiene standards in the lab and ensure accurate documentation in digital databases.
- Manage raw materials and inventory.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of practical technical experience in (food) production, a laboratory, or pilot plants.
- Efficient time management to conduct multiple lab experiments and documentation simultaneously.
- Resilience to remain focused and solution-oriented under tight deadlines or with failed experiments.
- Structured and adaptable to dynamic processes.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace applications or Microsoft Office.
- Passion for a health-oriented food industry.
- Comfortable in an ambitious scale-up culture.
- Open and proactive communication.
- Very good (C1) German and good (min. B2) English language skills.
