About the Role
Supporting essential maintenance across our properties, you will play a vital role in delivering timely, high-quality repairs and ensuring our services remain safe, reliable and responsive for our customers. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll use your expertise to resolve issues quickly, keep customers informed, and help us continue providing homes people can rely on.
Responsibilities
- Attending occupied or void properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties
- Resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
- Maintaining a suitable van stock level and restocking these when needed
- Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
Requirements
- Qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical. If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS))
- Working experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
- PC literate and able to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
- Hold a full valid UK driving licence

Salary/Compensations
- £40,248 - £42,367 per year
- £40,248 per annum (rising to £42,367 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
