About the Role

The Business Analyst Sales Cloud (BA) plays a central role at the interface between business departments, product ownership, and technical implementation. This role identifies, analyzes, and evaluates business and technical requirements, ensuring they are clear, prioritized, and actionable. As an extension of the Area Product Owner for Sales Cloud, the BA is responsible for pre-qualifying requirements ('Definition of Ready') and coordinating relevant stakeholders. The role also actively supports the test environment, contributes significantly to quality assurance, and takes on expanded tasks in training & support and within project-related organizational structures.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate business and technical requirements, particularly within the Sales Cloud context (Sales Org).
  • Derive clear user stories and specifications from business needs.
  • Ensure 'Definition of Ready' for Solution Designers.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners on prioritization and backlog maintenance.
  • Market-specific responsibility for focused requirements management.
  • Plan and moderate workshops, interviews, and coordination meetings.
  • Target-group-oriented communication between business departments, IT, and external partners, along with professional stakeholder and expectation management.
  • Select, prepare, and provide suitable test data.
  • Support market teams in SIT and UAT, and convey relevant process implementations.
  • Evaluate test results and identify optimization potential; prospectively take on classic testing tasks.
  • Conduct end-user and cross-cloud key-user training, and contribute to the overall training concept.
  • Participate in projects, especially in international rollouts.
  • Close collaboration, coordination, and knowledge exchange with Business Analysts at the delivery partner in Porto and other external partners.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business or computer science, or a technical/scientific degree with an IT focus.
  • Additional training or knowledge in Requirements Engineering, Business Process Management, or IT Management (e.g., IREB-CPRE, BPMN, agile frameworks).
  • Sound experience in business and process analysis, and in modeling business processes (BPMN, E2E process chains).
  • Proficient in handling user stories, specifications, and business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce solutions like Sales and Data Cloud is desirable.
  • Ability to evaluate requirements regarding feasibility, economic viability, and quality.
  • Knowledge of the test environment (SIT, UAT, test preparation).
  • Very good English skills and experience in international, intercultural collaboration.
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Confident use of Jira, Confluence, BPMN/workflow tools, and collaboration and office tools.
  • Strong communication and moderation skills.
  • High analytical skills, structured thinking, and strong interface competence between business and IT.
  • Independent, responsible work style.
  • Confident stakeholder management, conflict moderation, and ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Teamwork, empathy, and organizational skills.
