About the Role

Use technology to help transform the lives of young people. At The King's Trust, technology plays a vital role in helping us support young people to build confidence, develop skills and move into work. We're looking for a Service Owner to take ownership of a portfolio of technology services, ensuring they deliver real value to our colleagues and the young people we support. Working closely with frontline teams, architects, suppliers and technology specialists, you'll shape services that are reliable, secure and user-centred. You'll understand how our services are delivered in practice, using those insights to continuously improve the technology that underpins them.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of technology services, ensuring they evolve in line with organisational priorities and user needs.
  • Own and develop the service roadmap, balancing user feedback, business priorities and technology strategy.
  • Work closely with frontline colleagues and stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into effective technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, suppliers and technology teams to deliver secure, scalable and accessible services.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, using feedback and performance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor service performance, manage risks and ensure services support The King's Trust's long-term strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Experience owning, improving or supporting technology services and delivering successful technology initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and navigate complexity.
  • Experience gathering user requirements and using feedback to shape service improvements.
  • A collaborative approach, with a passion for delivering technology that enables people to do their best work.

Salary/Compensations

  • £31,277.00 to £44,064.00, dependent on your location, skills, knowledge and experience
