About the Role

As our Clinical Product Specialist, Ultrasound Workflow Solutions, you'll report to the Director, Product and bring frontline clinical expertise into the development of new ultrasound products, AI capabilities, and guided clinical workflows. Working closely with our Product, R&D, Data Science, Engineering, Clinical, and Commercial teams, you'll help ensure our solutions are clinically relevant, easy to use, and aligned with the realities of healthcare practice. You'll support the Product team by observing clinical workflows, gathering feedback from users, testing new products and prototypes, contributing to clinical requirements, and supporting pilot programs and product launches. A major initial focus will be guided point-of-care workflows that enable clinicians with limited ultrasound experience to answer specific clinical questions quickly and confidently, spanning applications such as lung, venous thrombosis, abdominal assessment, body composition, bone health, and MSK.

Responsibilities

  • Bring clinical and ultrasound expertise into product discovery, design, development, and validation.
  • Work with Product Managers to understand clinical problems, user needs, and workflow challenges, and contribute clinical input to product requirements, workflow designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Review prototypes and product concepts for clinical accuracy, usability, safety, and workflow fit.
  • Help identify where guidance, automation, AI, or workflow improvements could make ultrasound easier and more accessible.
  • Perform hands-on testing of ultrasound products, features, AI models, and guided workflows.
  • Develop and execute structured clinical test protocols in partnership with Product, R&D, and Data Science.
  • Evaluate image quality, acquisition workflows, instructions, usability, and clinical outputs, documenting findings clearly and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Support the collection, review, and quality assessment of ultrasound images and clinical datasets, and help define clinical acceptance criteria and product readiness requirements.
  • Participate in customer interviews, workflow observations, usability sessions, and site visits.
  • Gather feedback from clinicians, sonographers, healthcare organizations, and key opinion leaders, and translate it into clear insights and recommendations for the Product team.
  • Identify recurring clinical challenges, training needs, and opportunities to improve the customer experience, building trusted relationships with clinical users and external partners.
  • Support the planning and execution of product pilots, evaluations, and clinical validation activities.
  • Train pilot participants, monitor pilot activity, collect feedback, and help identify adoption barriers.
  • Support clinical data collection, documentation, and analysis, and work with Product Managers to summarize findings and recommend next steps.
  • Develop clinical training materials, workflow guides, product demonstrations, and educational content.
  • Support Marketing and Commercial teams with clinically accurate messaging and product education, and help train internal teams on new products, clinical workflows, and ultrasound applications.
  • Participate in customer demonstrations, conferences, workshops, and launch activities, and support customers during early adoption.

Requirements

  • Clinical training or professional credentials in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, medical imaging, or another relevant healthcare discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with ultrasound or medical imaging in a hospital, outpatient, point-of-care, or clinical environment.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, patient care, and ultrasound image acquisition.
  • Ability to communicate complex clinical concepts clearly to technical and non-clinical audiences.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Curious, proactive, and comfortable learning new technologies and clinical applications.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to provide structured, objective, and actionable product feedback, with a genuine interest in product development, innovation, and improving access to medical imaging.
