About the Role

The Circulation Tech team is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX 24.2 technical expert to manage and deliver change for Marketforce applications. This role involves becoming the primary contact for the business, handling BAU delivery, enhancements, and developments, with secondary cover for other applications.

Responsibilities

• Become the ORACLE PL/SQL and ORACLE APEX 24.2 technical expert for applications.
• Manage and deliver change through to Marketforce and its applications.
• Handle BAU delivery, enhancements, and developments.
• Serve as the primary contact for the business.
• Provide secondary cover for other applications based on technology experience.

Requirements

• Shown experience in database development using Oracle PL/SQL
• Strong SQL writing skills and data analysis using SQLPlus/ Toad/ SQL developer
• Experience writing complex and optimal SQL queries
• Experience in debugging and performance tuning PL/SQL code
• Experience in Oracle Forms 12c (Oracle Fusion Middleware)
• Experience with ETL processing, data extraction, transform and load
• Working knowledge of partitioning and materialised views
• Must have experience of working in support environment with good problem solving and analytical skills
• Must show fluency in working within standard procedures and within a project life cycle
• Must have knowledge of database best practices
• Keen interest of database development using Oracle
• Keen in understanding the workings of an application
