About the Role
Join ICE, the UK's largest independent provider of cleaning equipment, and help shape the future of intelligent cleaning technology. As a Solutions Deployment Specialist, you will install, configure, optimise, and support cutting-edge cleaning technology at customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission advanced cleaning equipment and robotic solutions
- Deliver on-site equipment trials, demonstrations, and customer handovers
- Train operators, supervisors, and management teams to use equipment safely and effectively
- Create site maps and optimise machine routes for maximum efficiency
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Provide first and second-line technical support on customer sites
- Analyse machine performance and recommend improvements
- Carry out routine machine inspections and maintenance checks
- Support proof-of-concept projects with ATP and gloss meter testing
- Work closely with manufacturers and internal technical teams to resolve complex issues
Requirements
- A qualification (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, IT or a related discipline
- Strong hands-on technical skills and confidence working with equipment
- Excellent communication and training skills
- A proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Good physical fitness for installations and equipment handling
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
