About the Role
This is a senior individual-contributor role focused on owning the agentic and platform capabilities of the Conduct platform. You will set product direction and execute directly, leading through technical depth, a high craft bar, and influence across product and engineering. The role involves defining APIs, MCP, and headless surfaces for sophisticated customers and AI agents, as well as owning non-functional requirements like scale, performance, reliability, multi-tenancy, and security for large financial institutions.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and roadmap for Conduct’s agentic and platform capabilities, including API, MCP, and headless workflow surfaces.
- Define the API surface as product, including alert queues, review actions, reason-code taxonomies, and workflow configuration.
- Build the extensibility model for how customers and systems can build on the platform.
- Partner with the AI/ML product team on the boundary between the intelligence and workflow layers.
- Own non-functional requirements as first-class product requirements: scale, performance, reliability, and security.
- Translate diligence and regulatory-examination requirements into a non-functional roadmap.
- Define product requirements for agentic workflows such as review, analyst assist, auto-sampling, and automations.
- Ensure agent actions are captured, explainable, and defensible to the same standard as analyst decisions.
- Partner with Engineering on capacity allocation, release readiness, and operational discipline.
- Partner with AI/ML, Data Science, Professional Services, and Customer Experience to translate customer pain into priorities.
- Maintain a clear view of the competitive landscape and develop differentiated positioning.
- Set the standard for platform and API/MCP product craft on the product team.
- Mentor product managers on platform and agentic thinking through influence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience with a track record of shipping product at enterprise scale.
- Demonstrated API and platform product ownership, including defining and owning developer-facing API surfaces or extensibility layers.
- Demonstrated non-functional requirements ownership, shipping products where scale, performance, reliability, or security were owned product requirements.
- Experience building for both human and programmatic or agentic consumers, or a strong adjacent track record.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS products in regulated industries.
- A track record of leading through technical authority and influence without formal reports.
- Strong written communication skills for product specs and strategy documents.
- Experience working in a cross-functional model with Engineering, Design, and Data Science as genuine peers.
