About the Role
The Star Sydney is seeking Food & Beverage Attendants and Bar Attendants to join their team across various venues. This role involves providing exceptional customer service to ensure memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently and deliver them in a timely manner.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (Bar Attendant opportunities).
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of venue menus, beverage offerings and current promotions, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Anticipate guest needs and understand their preferences to provide personalised service and recommendations.
- Communicate meal requirements, allergies and dietary needs to the kitchen and relevant team members.
- Collaborate with your team to provide efficient and seamless service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including setting up and breaking down service areas.
- Uphold The Star's high standards of service, presentation and guest engagement.
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant, bar, café or hospitality environment.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Experience preparing cocktails and beverages is highly regarded for Bar Attendant opportunities.
- Passion for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first approach.
- Flexible availability to meet venue operating hours.
- Current NSW RSA card (or interim certificate).
