About the Role

The Star Sydney is seeking Food & Beverage Attendants and Bar Attendants to join their team across various venues. This role involves providing exceptional customer service to ensure memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently and deliver them in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (Bar Attendant opportunities).
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of venue menus, beverage offerings and current promotions, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Anticipate guest needs and understand their preferences to provide personalised service and recommendations.
  • Communicate meal requirements, allergies and dietary needs to the kitchen and relevant team members.
  • Collaborate with your team to provide efficient and seamless service.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including setting up and breaking down service areas.
  • Uphold The Star's high standards of service, presentation and guest engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant, bar, café or hospitality environment.
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage service.
  • Experience preparing cocktails and beverages is highly regarded for Bar Attendant opportunities.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first approach.
  • Flexible availability to meet venue operating hours.
  • Current NSW RSA card (or interim certificate).
