About the Role
As a Global Employment Tax Advisor at Adobe, you will impact our global employment tax strategy and compliance, navigating complex regulatory environments to support ambitious growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage all elements of tax compliance for employment tax, including income tax, payroll tax, and social security tax.
- Provide expert advice on employment tax matters to cross-functional partners and the business.
- Mentor on the tax implications of compensation, benefits, travel & expenses, and remote work.
- Strategically lead global projects with internal partners, providing comprehensive reports and documentation.
- Support employment tax audits, gather and analyze data, and respond to information requests.
- Stay apprised of changing tax laws and regulations, proactively addressing necessary actions, communications, or education.
- Identify and drive operational improvements using market standard methodologies.
- Encourage clear communication and cooperation with cross-functional teams.
- Lead external tax providers to ensure a positive experience for Adobe and its employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, tax, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in tax compliance, including payroll tax, benefit tax, and equity-related tax issues.
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate well-reasoned judgments in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Mastery in calculations, graphing, tables, and automation for data analysis.
