About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with leading consumer goods manufacturers, partnering with senior marketing decision-makers to grow brands through advertising, shopper marketing, and consumer engagement solutions. The position focuses on both growing existing client relationships and generating new business by identifying opportunities, building prospect relationships, and presenting tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow relationships with leading FMCG, CPG and OTC companies.
  • Identify, prospect and convert new business opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of client accounts.
  • Meet with senior marketing decision-makers to understand business objectives and present tailored advertising solutions.
  • Develop strategic proposals and quotations for prospective clients.
  • Maintain an accurate and organised sales pipeline using Salesforce.
  • Partner closely with Creative, Production and Client Services teams to deliver exceptional campaigns.
  • Stay across market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
  • Achieve individual sales and revenue targets while contributing to broader team success.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years' experience in account management, business development or sales.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial acumen and excellent relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own pipeline.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
  • An interest in advertising, media, digital marketing or consumer insights.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce (preferred).
  • A degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Experience in media, advertising, SaaS, marketing technology or other consultative B2B sales environments will be highly regarded.
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights.
