About the Role
This role supports a portfolio of large, complex clients within the North American Casualty team, offering the chance to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse clients across various industry sectors.
Responsibilities
- Support brokers in the negotiation and placement of complex liability insurance programs.
- Prepare underwriting submissions for distribution to London insurers in coordination with US colleagues.
- Demonstrate knowledge of London Market Reform Contracts, including quote, binder, and policy review.
- Undertake renewal market presentations/negotiations and make recommendations.
- Optimize revenue from new and existing clients through effective management of placement support functions, facilities, and markets.
- Ensure transparency of agency and other commitments made to carriers and clients.
- Ensure compliant processing of contracts as per FCA and contract certainty requirements.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects.
- Preserve and grow relationships with the US retail network and client servicing teams for coordinated client service.
- Respond quickly and accurately to ad hoc client service requirements and new business introductions.
- Identify opportunities to work with colleagues across the business for account penetration and cross-selling.
- Understand client business and risk management needs to deliver tailored solutions through exceptional service.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and internal partners.
- Manage changes in client circumstances to ensure cover matches their needs.
- Liaise internally when client needs cross into other WTW specialties to ensure a consistent approach.
- Understand, apply, and explain business unit policies and procedures.
- Provide technical, industry, and subject matter expertise.
- Operate within the business’s policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, markets, and others to maximize service delivery.
- Develop knowledge of internal WTW and industry systems, meeting all internal metrics.
- Liaise with offshore processing centers to ensure timely premium payment flow.
- Support peer Account Executives and Brokers through timely administration of client accounts.
Requirements
- Involvement in business planning.
- Support an existing team handling an existing portfolio of material sized placements.
- Work across both Property and Casualty (Re)Insurance lines.
- Support the continued build-out of offerings within Direct and Facultative.
- Work with the existing team to help shape an overall Global Strategy for the group.
