About the Role

Our client is an internationally active IT service and consulting company that supports companies and public clients in securing their IT landscapes. The Cyber Defense division supports clients in implementing modern security strategies, optimizing security operations, and establishing efficient detection and response processes. The company combines strategic consulting with technical expertise to help clients continuously develop their security organization and effectively counter current threat situations.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on the development and enhancement of modern cyber defense strategies.
  • Analyze existing security organizations and identify optimization potential.
  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments and maturity analyses.
  • Develop detection and response concepts and recommendations for action.
  • Advise on Security Operations Center (SOC), SIEM, Incident Response, and Threat Detection.
  • Evaluate current threat situations and derive appropriate protective measures.
  • Conduct workshops and management presentations.
  • Support the development of security governance and operating models.
  • Participate in presales activities and proposal preparation.
  • Create technical and functional concepts for client projects.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in Cyber Defense, Security Consulting, or Security Operations.
  • Experience in advising clients on cybersecurity strategies and security processes.
  • Good knowledge of SIEM, SOC, and Incident Response concepts.
  • Experience in conducting workshops and assessments.
  • Understanding of current cyber threats and modern detection and response methods.
  • Confident demeanor with clients and management.
  • Fluent German (C1) and good English language skills.
  • Structured and self-reliant way of working.
