About the Role

The company is an internationally active IT service and consulting firm that supports companies and public clients in securing their IT infrastructures. The Network Security division develops modern security solutions for enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments and advises clients on the implementation of future-proof network and security architectures. The focus is on Zero Trust concepts, network segmentation, secure access, and protecting critical corporate networks from current cyber threats.

Responsibilities

Planning, implementation, and further development of modern network security solutions
Advising clients on building secure network architectures and Zero Trust concepts
Analysis of existing network and security landscapes and identification of optimization potential
Implementation and configuration of next-generation firewalls, network access control, and secure access solutions
Development of network segmentation and micro-segmentation concepts
Support for cloud and hybrid transformations, considering modern security requirements
Conducting technical workshops and architecture reviews
Analysis of security-relevant network events and derivation of suitable protective measures
Collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity teams
Support for presales activities and technical customer presentations

Requirements

Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in Network Security or Cybersecurity
Experience with enterprise networks and security architectures
Sound knowledge of modern firewall, VPN, and network security solutions
Experience with Zero Trust, Network Segmentation, and Secure Access
Experience in technical customer consulting and conducting workshops
Very good German language skills (C1) and good English language skills
Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented way of working
