About the Role
The Data Privacy & Protection team supports clients in implementing regulatory requirements, introducing modern data protection solutions, and developing sustainable security strategies for hybrid IT and cloud environments. We are looking for a Cybersecurity Data Privacy & Protection SME to expand our team.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on the development and implementation of modern data protection and data protection strategies.
- Analyze existing data protection and information security processes and identify optimization potential.
- Design and implement technical solutions for protecting sensitive corporate data.
- Advise on Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, and Data Governance.
- Support the introduction of Microsoft Purview or comparable data protection platforms.
- Conduct data protection and security analyses, as well as risk and gap assessments.
- Develop technical and organizational protective measures for cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Conduct client workshops and present solution approaches.
- Support presales activities, proposal processes, and effort estimations.
- Create technical concepts, documentation, and recommendations for action.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in Data Protection, Information Security, or Data Privacy.
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, or Data Governance.
- Knowledge of modern Microsoft security solutions, especially Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Information Protection, or comparable platforms.
- Experience in client consulting and conducting workshops.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to data protection and information security.
- Fluent German (C1) and good English language skills.
- Structured way of working and strong communication skills.
