About the Role

The Data Privacy & Protection team supports clients in implementing regulatory requirements, introducing modern data protection solutions, and developing sustainable security strategies for hybrid IT and cloud environments. We are looking for a Cybersecurity Data Privacy & Protection SME to expand our team.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on the development and implementation of modern data protection and data protection strategies.
  • Analyze existing data protection and information security processes and identify optimization potential.
  • Design and implement technical solutions for protecting sensitive corporate data.
  • Advise on Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, and Data Governance.
  • Support the introduction of Microsoft Purview or comparable data protection platforms.
  • Conduct data protection and security analyses, as well as risk and gap assessments.
  • Develop technical and organizational protective measures for cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
  • Conduct client workshops and present solution approaches.
  • Support presales activities, proposal processes, and effort estimations.
  • Create technical concepts, documentation, and recommendations for action.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in Data Protection, Information Security, or Data Privacy.
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, or Data Governance.
  • Knowledge of modern Microsoft security solutions, especially Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Information Protection, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience in client consulting and conducting workshops.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to data protection and information security.
  • Fluent German (C1) and good English language skills.
  • Structured way of working and strong communication skills.
