About the Role
We are looking for you as a System Administrator (m/f/d) at the Berlin location (hybrid). Your tasks include administering, operating, and continuously developing complex server and system landscapes. You will automate operational processes and infrastructure with PowerShell, Ansible, and/or Bash, driving the standardization of our platforms. You will ensure stable, secure, and highly available IT operations. You will introduce, operate, and continuously optimize modern communication and collaboration solutions, especially Matrix-based messengers. You will actively participate in exciting infrastructure projects and contribute your technical know-how to the further development of the IT landscape. You will analyze and resolve complex system malfunctions in 2nd and 3rd level support, ensuring smooth system operation. You will document technical solutions and support the continuous optimization of IT processes and operational procedures.
Responsibilities

- Ensure stable, secure, and highly available IT operations.
- Introduce, operate, and continuously optimize modern communication and collaboration solutions, especially Matrix-based messengers.
- Actively participate in exciting infrastructure projects and contribute technical know-how to the further development of the IT landscape.
- Analyze and resolve complex system malfunctions in 2nd and 3rd level support, ensuring smooth system operation.
- Document technical solutions and support the continuous optimization of IT processes and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or a degree in IT, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- LPIC-1 certification or a higher Linux certification.
- Several years of professional experience as a Senior System Administrator or in a comparable position.
- Structured, self-reliant way of working and enjoyment in optimizing IT processes and continuously developing modern infrastructures.
- Very good spoken and written German for effective communication in project environments and with our German-speaking customers.
