About the Role
The General Manager will serve as the primary site contact, overseeing facility operations, ensuring high customer service standards, leading a multidisciplinary team, and driving innovation through a research-based Wellbeing Programme. This role also focuses on growing the on-site Active Space and Wellbeing programme, supporting the company's mission to make a healthy difference in customers' lives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of onsite wellbeing facilities, including remote management.
- Coordinate scheduling and services for maximum facility utilization.
- Recruit, train, and manage a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop strong relationships with participants and stakeholders through effective communication.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure financial sustainability.
- Develop and implement health and safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Organize employee events and collaborative initiatives.
- Travel nationally across sites as expected.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Health Club management or Corporate Wellbeing.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive with excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate a diverse audience.
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Creative and innovative approach to developing fitness and wellbeing programs.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to manage budgets, financial planning, and reporting.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Salary/Compensations
- £40,000 per annum
