About the Role
The Product Marketing Specialist executes product marketing and content initiatives across Healthcare, Politics, and Public Affairs. This role is key in building the company’s content library, communicating platform value, and equipping sales teams for growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop clear, compelling value propositions and messaging frameworks for proprietary platforms, data offerings, and ad-tech capabilities.
- Develop one-sheets, case studies, and talking points to equip sales and strategically position DSPolitical against competitors.
- Collaborate with client-facing teams to uncover client pain points and address confusion within tech and data offerings, developing messaging and collateral to preemptively address objections.
- Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to understand complex ad-tech capabilities and translate them into accessible, benefit-driven narratives.
- Monitor the programmatic and ad-tech landscape to build competitive positioning highlighting unique product differentiators.
- Ensure product messaging is consistent across all channels and gather market feedback from sales to inform future product marketing projects.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with key ad-tech and platform partners, identifying and executing high-impact co-marketing opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in product marketing, advertising technology, or programmatic advertising.
- Strong commitment to mentorship and collaboration.
- Strong experience in creating product-specific sales collateral, feature narratives, and GTM materials.
- Proficiency in digital media platforms and advertising technology systems.
- Some project management experience.
- Proficiency in modern team collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Slack, Monday, Google Workspace).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
