About the Role

DP World is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to manage supplier invoices and payments, maintain creditor account accuracy, and ensure adherence to financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts payable analysis for regular review.
• Process invoices promptly and allocate them to correct accounts.
• Review and process accounts for manager approval in line with DP World policy.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment.
• Reconcile invoices with batches and report any issues.
• Set up and maintain vendor onboarding.
• Maintain accurate creditor details and input data for correct payment and allocation.
• Input and process journals for General Ledger/Accruals and Budgets.
• Ensure backup to payments made through appropriate journal entries.
• Assist accountants with journal entries and month-end tasks.
• Prepare manual ad hoc invoices for one-off services.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable environment.
• Experience in accounting systems.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and Excel.
• Good organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments.
• Sound interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with month-end closing processes and journal entries.
• Must have Australian residency or valid working rights in Australia.
