About the Role
As an Analytics Engineer, you will build the foundations for data-driven decision-making at N26. You will collaborate with the data community and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, relevant data models while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within a central analytics engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Provide clean data models to enable business stakeholders to answer their own questions
- Transform, test, and deploy data projects using software engineering best practices
- Improve analyst and business user workflows to optimize data productivity
- Create datasets tests to ensure high data quality
- Troubleshoot transformation pipeline issues and develop solutions for complex problems
- Build and manage data models for BI tools
- Participate in whiteboard sessions to ideate new services and tools
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Software Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or in a quantitative discipline
- Strong SQL querying skills
- Experience with Python
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing architecture
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or Looker
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data to real-world business solutions
