About the Role

As an Internal Sales Executive, you will drive proactive outreach, qualify opportunities using the BANT-C framework, and work closely with the Area Sales Manager to move deals forward. You will secure appointments, keep the pipeline flowing, and ensure smooth handovers to technical and operations teams. After the sale, you will nurture relationships, spot growth opportunities, and keep CRM and ERP systems sharp.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage and qualify leads by following up on Market Qualified Leads (MQLs) and handling inbound enquiries efficiently.
  • Assess prospects using the BANT-C framework, mapping stakeholders and conducting virtual introduction meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate with the ASM to secure appointments and support the conversion of leads to opportunities.
  • Advance sales pipeline by following up on quotes and making minor proposal revisions.
  • Prepare detailed project handovers and ensure smooth onboarding by coordinating with Technical Service teams.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, oversee handover of project delivery, gather feedback, and support multi-site opportunities.
  • Ensure operational excellence by updating CRM/ERP systems, participating in meetings, and managing a defined area or vertical market.

  • Proven track record in account management and customer success.
  • Self-starter with strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Natural problem solver with a process-oriented and disciplined approach.
  • Strong prioritisation and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and general IT literacy.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner, with experience in building strong customer and business relationships.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within team environments.
  • Experience working in line with targets and KPIs, driving quality & output.

Salary/Compensations

  • 70K Base Salary neg. + Monthly sales commission structure (Potential of $37,500.00 OTE Annually) + Superannuation
