About the Role

We are actively searching for an MRI Technologist to join our team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an imaging professional committed to delivering high-quality patient care and producing exceptional diagnostic images in a fast-paced outpatient setting. In this role, you will perform MRI procedures, support safe and efficient patient flow, and help maintain the highest standards of imaging quality, safety, and service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI exams while ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout the procedure
  • Review and verify imaging requests for accuracy and completeness
  • Produce diagnostic-quality images while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs
  • Follow all MRI safety protocols, including thorough patient screening and equipment safety procedures
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors within the MRI suite
  • Adhere to all applicable internal policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
  • Check MRI equipment for proper performance and report any issues promptly
  • Perform routine quality assurance tasks and coordinate service or maintenance as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and imaging rooms
  • Collaborate with radiologists, providers, nurses, and fellow imaging staff to support smooth departmental operations

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related imaging program
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • MRI certification required or eligibility to obtain, based on role requirements
  • Active licensure
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • 1-2+ years of MRI experience preferred
